Body discovered near Polpithigama forest

death-bodyA body of a woman was discovered in a forest area in Polpithigama. According to police, the body was recovered following information received from residents. The victim was a 86 year old resident of the area. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained. Police investigations are currently underway.
