Dengue soars – Puttalam, Peradeniya among areas battling deadly virus

Dengue_5According to the Ministry of Health, several areas around Puttalam, Peradeniya and Badulla have seen a rise in the spread of Dengue.Director General of Health Services, Dr. Jayasundara Bandara, attributed the rise to the current inclement weather. Dr. Bandara added that greater public participation is required to prevent the spread of Dengue.
