Steps to be taken to calculate votes at polling centres: Elections Commission

election_srilanka_file2The Elections Commission states that steps will be taken to calculate the votes at the polling centre itself, during the upcoming Local Government Elections. Additional Elections Commissioner, Saman Sri Ratnayake, said between 12,000 and 13,000 polling stations will be set up. He stated that discussions have already begun in this regard.
