Over 250,000 SL’s youth addicted to drugs: NDDCB

say No to DrugsThe Dangerous Drugs Control Board has said over 250,000 youth of Sri Lanka are addicted to drugs. Chairman Professor Ravindra Fernando said close to 50,000 youth are found to be addicted to Heroin alone. He also said that about 2,500 youth are annually subject to rehabilitation from drug addiction.
