Met Dept forecasts silver lining in dark clouds

rain2The Met Department predicts that prevailing showers over the Southwestern part of the country will reduce by June 10. Met Department sources also added however that showers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and Northwestern provinces. The department  also forecast strong winds of about 50kmph over Polonnaruwa, Ampara, Batticaloa, Matale and Hambantota districts.
