Education Minister makes statement over closure of schools in several districts

school closedAll schools in eight districts will be closed from Monday until Friday Accordingly all schools in the districts of Colombo, Kalutara, Galle, Hambantota, Kegalle, Matara, Ratnapura and Gampaha will be temporarily closed. Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam made this statement while speaking at a media briefing held this morning.
