Building collapses in Wellawatte – rescue operations underway (VIDEO)

wellawatteA five-storey building in Wellawatte, located near the Galle Road, has collapsed. Police said that several individuals are buried under the debris. Rescue operations are currently underway. Eight more wounded persons have  been admitted to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital in Kalubowila.
