Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilake recently vested several development projects in Bentota Divisional Secretariat division with the public.
The projects in Kuda Uragaha, Rantotuwila, and Pilekumbura were implemented spending Rs. 6 million.
Addressing the gathering, the minister said that the new unity government had to face many challenges since its appointment and there was a big black mark about Sri Lanka within the international community. But at present, the country has been able to solve these problems and maintain a good rapport with the international community.
He said that there are several issues regarding the Samurdhi beneficiaries. Therefore, a list should be created including the eligible beneficiaries without party politics, he added.
