Schools re-open for first term

Schools openThe first school term for 2017 will commence today (January 2nd). However, 68 schools where correction of GCE Ordinary Level examination papers are taking place, will not commence today. Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Hemantha Premathilaka, said that the first school term will last until the 5th of April.
