Ministry of Defense organized a lecture on Integration and Reconciliation in view of the National Integration and Reconciliation Week at the ministry premises today. Professor Jayantha Senevirathne made the guest speech at the event.
All participants took the National Integration and Reconciliation Oath prior to the lecture. A memento was also presented to Professor Senevirathne to mark the occasion.
Under a concept of the President Maithripala Sirisena, Government declared a National Integration and Reconciliation Week from 8th to 14th January.
Additional secretaries, civil and military staff of MoD participated at the event.
