Very strong winds and heavy showers are expected in the Northern, Eastern and North-central provinces until tomorrow (2nd Dec.) due to the influence of the cyclonic storm “NADA” in the South-west Bay of Bengal, Met Department said.
The cyclonic storm “NADA” is now located around 200km to the north-east of Kankasanturai coast and it is expected to move north-westward. It is likely cross North Tamil Nadu coast on today midnight.
In addition, showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Northern, Eastern and North-central provinces.
Fairly heavy falls (about75 mm) can also be expected in some places and showers or thundershowers may occur in several places elsewhere.
