Unprotected railway crossing gatekeepers launch countrywide strike

token strikeGatekeepers’ of unprotected railway crossings’ have launched a countrywide strike action. The strike was launche, demanding for an increase in their wages. Chairman of the Unprotected Railway  Crossing Gatekeepers’ Association W. A. Premalal said, the strike action will continue until 6 a.m. Sunday, January 1.
