Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and former president Mahinda Rajapaksa met at the parliamentary complex on Friday.
A communique issued by the prime minister’s office says that the meeting was to discuss the constitutional reform process.
In addition to the former president, Opposition leader R. Sampanthan, parliamentarians Dinesh Gunawardena, Bandula Gunawardena, Vidura Wickremanayaka, Lohan Ratwatte, and Shehan Semasinghe had also been present at the meeting.
