PM to leave for Hong Kong today

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave for Hong Kong today to deliver the keynote speech at the ‘The World in 2017’ conference organized by ‘the Economist’ international Magazine.


World’s foremost economists, intellectuals, entrepreneurs, and journalists will take part in the Conference in Hong Kong.


The Economist on 29th November held a similar conference in Singapore, where the keynote address was delivered by the Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay.


Prime Minister will be accompanied by the Prof. Maithri Wickremesinghe, Sri Lankan Ambassador in China Dr. Karunasena Kodithuwakku, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister Saman Athawudahetti, and the Special Assistant Sandra Perera.
