Legal action has been filed against 1,423 traders who violated consumer rights during the month of November.
A senior officer at the Consumer Services Authority said, about 2,108 raids were conducted in the month of November.
Meanwhile, the Consumer Services Authority also said that during the upcoming festive season, special units have been assigned to conduct raids during the weekend.
Complaints regarding traders who sell expired items, and those who commit other offences such as selling items exceeding their controlled prices, can be reported via the hotlines;
