The Colombo Municipal Council has decided to initiate a programme to evaluate the quality of food being sold at mobile food outlets in the city of Colombo.
Chief Public Health Officer of the Colombo Municipal Council Ruwan Wijeyamuni said that there are a number of illegal outlets in operation.
It has been difficult to locate these illegal mobile food outlets as they constantly relocate across the city, he said.
