The Sri Lanka Navy has taken measures to disperse the Hambantota Port employees who were engaged in a Sathyagraha Campaign.
A News 1st correspondent at the premises said, the group was moved 100 metres away from the Port Jetty.
He added that the Jetty is now under the control of the Sri Lanka Navy.
It is being reported that a tense situation has arisen between the protesters and the Sri Lanka Navy.
Speaking to News 1st, Sri Lanka Navy Spokesperson Captain Akram Alawi said that the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy has visited the premises.
