The World Diabetes Day walk was held at Independence Square on Sunday morning under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena.
The theme of the walk organised by the Sri Lanka College of Endocrinologists and the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health was “Act today to change tomorrow.”
The walk was organised in view of the National Diabetes Day which falls on November 14.
