The newly-appointed U.S. President Donald Trump promised to evade major trade deals and slap huge tariffs on goods from China and Mexico, which are two of the biggest trading partners of the U.S. as he named China a currency manipulator.
In response to this, the founder and CEO of Alibaba Jack Ma, who is a Chinese said it’s going to be a disaster if Trump doesn’t work with China.
A healthy and positive relationship between the world’s top two economies could solve lots of problems, he said.
However, Ma hopes that Trump will not go ahead with his decision.
