Steps have been taken by the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau, to bring back the remains of the Sri Lankan national who died in Saudi Arabia.
Working Director of the Bureau, Upul Deshapirya said that measures were being taken through the Sri Lankan Embassy in Saudi Arabia. Sri Lankan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Azmi Nazeem in a statement said that an extensive report will be presented following the post mortem examination into the death.
The Sri Lankan Ambassador added in the statement that there had been close upon 400 to 500 deaths of women of Philippines, Kenya, and Ethiopian nationalities in the country.
