A police raid was conducted in the Samithpura area in Mattakkuliya where five people were gunned down a few weeks ago.
The raid was jointly conducted by the Police and the Police Special Task Force.
Police said that ten suspects were arrested during the raid, adding that they were allegedly in the possession of sharp weapons at the time of their arrest.
The Mattakkuliya Police is conducting further investigations.
