Korean Embassy donates laptops and digital pianos

Ambassador to Korea in Sri Lanka Chang Won-Sam recently donated laptops, digital pianos, and children items to North-Central Province during an official visit from 24th to 26th November.

He donated 30 laptops to Polonnaruwa Pulathisi ICT Centre, which were sponsored by Samsung SDS as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to enhance Sri Lanka’s informatisation. He also donated digital pianos, children’s shoes, and pen-note sets to the Bosath Home for Children in Polonnaruwa and the Avanthi Devi Home for Children in Anuradhapura.

The donations were made by the Embassy in a dimension of the ongoing efforts to assist children in rural regions of Sri Lanka.

During the visit, the Ambassador also had a meeting with Polonnaruwa District Secretary Ranjith Ariyarathna and he briefed the Ambassador on the current situation of the District. Two other officials also discussed cooperative ways to strengthen relations between Sri Lanka and Korea.
