The Government is planning to start an official quarters project for the staff of hospitals around the country and plan to complete it within three years said Dr. Rajitha Senarathna minister of Health and Indigenous medicine who engaged in an observation tour of the hospitals in the Ratnapura district.
Dr. Senarathna said that a cabinet paper in this regard will be forwarded next week.
He said that no eye patient should purchase lenses as we have imported 100,000 lenses and distributed among the hospitals. Therefore I request all patients not to spend money for lenses.
