Low level atmospheric disturbance in the Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression.
Therefore, showery weather and cloudy skies can be expected to continue in most parts of the island. Heavy falls (more than 100 mm) can be expected in some places, (particularly in the Southern, Central, Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces) until 07th November.
Misty conditions can be expected in some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
