You can’t abandon life just because it is difficult. It is only those with a heart who can lend a helping hand to those lives that are difficult.
Gammedda, which was initiated with this concept in mind, provided a community hall to the village of Yaya 3 in Mahavilachchiya, Anuradhapura.
The people of Kukulkatuwa, Mahavailachchiya rejoiced when the newly built community hall, which was dream for 21 years, was vested with them.
The community hall will serve over 400 families in the Mahavailachchiya Yaya 1,2 and 3 areas, providing a much needed public location for educational purposes as well as the needs of the community.
Financial aid for this project, which is under team-Q headed by Ameen Asher, was provided by News1st correspondent Yasasiri Wijesekara.
The opening ceremony was of the community hall was held under the auspices of group director of the Capital Maharaja Organisation, Chevaan Daniel.
A group,including News1st administrative director, former D.I.G Kithsiri Dayananda, and O.I.C of the Vilachchiya police station Nilanga Fernando were present at the occasion.
