Another drinking water project under the Gammadda Saviya Initiative was launched on Friday. Locals from Sansungama in Hingurakgoda were deprived of access to clean drinking water for many years.
Though a water project was in effect in the area to provide the locals with water, for years, it did not serve its purpose.
The Gammadda Saviya Initiative took steps to resolve this issue today. A volunteer organisation named Suwa Diviyata Paniya Jalaya supported the project.
