The International Maritime Conference ‘Galle Dialog - 2016’, organized by the Sri Lanka Navy in partnership with Ministry of Defense, will get underway at the Galle Face Hotel, Colombo on 28th and 29th November for the Seventh consecutive year.
The event will be graced by President Maithripala Sirisena as the Chief Guest and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Guest of Honor.
Local and foreign experts in naval and maritime affairs representing 40 countries and 12 twelve international organizations will share their expertise and discuss matters of professional interest at the two-day dialog themed ‘Fostering Strategic Maritime Partnership’. Further, seven Naval Chiefs will be among the distinguished participants that will include over 120 foreign delegates.
