Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa commented on the budget following an event in Galle.
“No one laid their hands on the ETF or the EPF”, charged the Former President,Mahinda Rajapaksa who further pointed out that when companies want to buy bonds they will release this money and they will lend it out at a low interest, and the companies in turn will give back this money to the government at a higher interest rate
He further added that the Joint Opposition will vote against the budget
