The clinical nutrition conference organised by the Sri Lanka Medical Nutrition Association was held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena on Saturday, November 12.
The theme for this year’s meeting was “emergence of clinical nutrition challenges.”
Meanwhile, president also took part in a discussion that focussed on how to minimise inconveniences caused by dry weather condition.
The discussion was held at the Presidential Secretariat on Friday. New proposals on how to maintain water levels at reservoirs and tanks in the North Central Province were taken into consideration.
