A portion of the Puttalam railway track will be temporarily closed from 9.45 tonight until October 31, says the Railway Control Room.
According to an officer at the Railway Control Room, the tracks will be temporarily closed in order to create a dual line between the Katunayake and Negombo Railway stations.
The train schedule will continue as usual between Colombo – Fort and Seeduwa, while the Chilaw-Negombo train will continue under a new schedule.
