Trail, a walk initiated to combat the deadly disease, cancer, completed its twenty second day today.
Participants commenced their journey from Moratuwa on Thursday morning and ended the day in Payagala, after walking a distance of 21 kilometres today.
The 2016 edition of Trail has seen over 2500 participants, and 8000 donors, in a bid to raise five million US Dollars in order to construct a new cancer treatment facility at the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital in Galle.
The walk takes place over 28 days and spans 670 kilometres along the length of the country, and has past the 450 kilometre mark as of now.
