Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is in Brussels, Belgium, visited the Antwerp Port Complex and the Diamond Pavilion on Wednesday evening.
The Antwerp Port Complex is the second largest harbor in Europe.
At the Antwerp Diamond Pavilion, PM Wickremesinghe observed the Diamond ornament named ‘Peacock’, which is made of gems obtained from Sri Lanka.
Minister Sagala Rathnayake, Secretary to the Prime Minister Saman Ekanayake, Sri Lankan Ambassador in Belgium Rodney Perera, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minster Saman Athaudahetti, and Special Assistant Sandra Perera also joined the Prime Minister.
