Member of alleged spy group arrested in Delhi

Relations between Pakistan and India continue to worsen as a third member of an alleged spy group was arrested.

Delhi police on Friday October 28, arrested a third individual who they believe to be part of an espionage ring passing on information to Pakistan. This follows an arrest which on  Thursday October 28, of a Pakistani official who Delhi police believed was leading a spy ring tasked with collecting sensitive information about Indian security operations along its border.

This latest suspect has been identified as Shoaib, a visa agent in the northwest city of Jodhpur.

The Pakistan High Commission has rejected the allegations while in another blow to Indian – Pakistan relations, the Indian Border Security Forces said that last week they killed 15 Pakistani soldiers in retaliation for shots fired by Pakistan along the border in Jammu and Kashmir.
