Eight persons were injured after a lorry crashed into a tree in Kandhakulama in Galgamuwa. The police said, the injured were admitted to the Galgamuwa Hospital.
The accident occurred while a group of pilgrims were travelling from Deniyaya to Anuradhapura. The Galgamuwa Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
