The Gammadda 100 Initiative was able to provide clean drinking water to the residents of the Baptist Village in Ampegama in Galle today, thereby solving the long standing problem of acquiring drinking.
Close to eighty families in the Baptist Village who were battered with the lack of clean drinking water after the Tsunami, will be benefited by the project.
The tree-planting programme, and the programme to distribute books to enhance the environment, as well as the knowledge of the people, were carried out in line with the Gammadda 100 Initiative
