Police investigating a complaint made over an alleged rape, said the Colombo Judicial Medical Officer has confirmed that the 32-year-old woman in Kalapaluwawa, Rajagiriya was raped.
Police said that two persons who entered her house had raped the woman. One of the suspects was arrested following a complaint she lodged at the Welikada Police.
Police added that the woman is employed at the Katunayake International Airport.
