The Disaster Management Center says sluice gates of the Kukule Ganga Dam have been opened due to prevailing rainy weather. Assistant Director Pradeep Kodippili said, as a result, those living downstream should remain vigilant. Meanwhile, landslide warnings have been issued for Ratnapura and Nuwara Eliya districts.
